• Finally Turning

    What's up?

Have you noticed the leaves lately? Well, in the Northern Hemisphere, we have started the fall season. It basically happens when the earth starts tilting and the top part (that you would see on a globe) starts tilting further away from the sun. This means it’s getting cooler.

I’ve been seeing the first harvest colors on the leaves where I live. They are orangey-gold. Some trees will end up a really dark red, and some will stay a bright yellow. The whole range of colors makes hiking in fall amazing.

What are the leaves like where you live? Maybe you live some place tropical, so you don’t notice as much of a change and the leaves on your trees stay green much longer. I’ve always wanted to go some place tropical.

    Maybe someday I will!

  • Raindrops keep fallin' on my head!

    Hey everybody,

So, where I live, there has not been very much rain this year. Compared to most years, we’ve had a really dry summer. But this past week it hasn’t quit raining! I am actually kinda happy about it because I’ve been able to wear my new boots and matching raincoat almost every day. They are red with white polka dots. And let me just tell you, they look fabulous!

I also like wearing a raincoat better than using an umbrella. It’s easier to deal with. You don’t have to open it every time you walk outside and you don’t have to close it and shake off the rain when you go inside. Plus, you don’t have to worry about poking somebody’s eye out with those little metal thingys, or ruining it by squishing it in a doorway!

I’m tellin’ ya, raincoats are the way to go.

    Stay dry!

  • Finally Fall

    September 21, 2011

    Hey guys,

Friday marks the official first day of fall! There are so many great things about fall. The trees become beautiful, there are tons of festivals and things to do during the weekends, and fashions get more fun, too, because you can wear practically everything in your closet!

I love layering in the fall. It makes each outfit even more unique, and when you layer you’ll also be more prepared for any kind of weather. Try layering tanks with flannel shirts and a jacket with a cute belt for a fun outfit. And jeans will go with practically everything you want to wear in the fall, so make sure you’ve got yours ready to go!

Gotta go plan some more outfits! Planning my outfits ahead saves me tons of time in the morning when I’m getting ready for school, so that’s why I try to do it whenever I can.

    Catch ya later!
