• New Bike!

    April 11, 2011

    Hi Everyone,

Guess what? I got a new bike! I went on my first ride yesterday and I totally L-O-V-E it! It’s like a shiny turquoise color and I really wanted a helmet to match, but the guy at the shop said they don’t make turquoise helmets. So, I just got a purple one instead but I’ll probably customize it later with some cool paint or something. One of my friends got in a crash one time while they were just riding around town so I know how important it is to wear a helmet and you won’t catch me without it.

Ok, you’re probably wondering how I got this bike, since it’s obviously not Christmas or my birthday (because I would totally tell you if it was). Well, I’ve been saving for it for a loooooong time. I get an allowance for doing chores and a while ago when I asked the ‘rents for a bike they said I had to save up for one. I have this jar in my room that I started keeping it in and I’ve been saving for a few months. It felt good to count it all this weekend and realized I had enough to get my bike.

I’ve gotta take really good care of it too, because if something happens to it it’s just gonna take me waaaaay too long to get another one, and I know I can’t wait that long.

    Talk to ya later!

    Hey everyone!

I hope you all got to watch yesterday’s episode of Craftshop. Dana showed us how to make our own hip studded bags. I made two already and I can’t wait to make more. Not only will having more bags be great for my outfits, I’ll have trendy hand-made gifts for all my friends. And everyone knows that hand-made gifts are the best, so getting something that’s this cute is ten times better!

Not only am I excited about making bags for my friends, I can’t wait for this weekend because I’m going to a cooking class! We’re supposed to learn about breakfast food, and breakfast is my favorite (and most important) meal! I can’t wait to perfect my omelet-making skills. If you don’t know, an omelet is kind of like a burrito but instead of a tortilla the stuff inside is wrapped in a fried egg. They aren’t easy but they are definitely delicious! I’ll let you know how it goes.

    See ya later!
