Hey all you furbulous fans!
Today is Leap Day. That is SO cool to say. Yup, it’s Leap Day! This day only happens once every four years so it’s pretty cool that I get to talk to you guys on this rare day in history! Are you going to do anything special today? I am. Remember how I told you I made that time capsule? My dad is helping me find a good spot to bury it today.
He said it might be a good idea to mark it with a stone or something, so that I can remember where it is when I go back to dig it up in four years.
There’s still plenty of time for you to make a time capsule, too! Ask your friends if they want to add a little note to make it even more special.

Marvelous Monday

Hi everyone,
Today was another great day at school. I love Monday’s because they are a great way to start fresh. Even when it’s rainy, it’s okay, because the day can only get better.
I also love Monday’s because of my class’s mapping Monday’s that my teacher does each week. This week she asked us to draw Brazil. Have you ever seen Brazil? It is the largest country on the continent of South America. It’s famous for its amazing futbol (pronounced FOOT-ball) – or soccer team, that almost always makes it to the World Cup, which is played every four years. They’re so good! Futbol is Brazil’s national sport, too, so kids start playing there almost before they can walk!
You would probably be really good too if you’d been playing soccer that long.
