I can’t believe I only have one more softball game before school starts! This summer went by so fast, I feel like it just started yesterday! At least I did a lot of cool things with my friends and family. Picnics, cookouts, parades, fishing, swimming, and my absolute fave: crafting.
I actually have a lot of stuff to look forward to this school year. I get to start playing an instrument in band, and I have no idea what I want to play. Well, that’s not totally true. It’s just hard to narrow down which instrument I want to play because I want to play them all! I’ll have to figure out soon though because next week is when they need to know, so I’ll definitely let you know what I pick.
Of course, whatever it is, I’ll make it awesome.
Good luck with your back-to-school shopping!
New school stuff!

Yesterday it rained in the morning, but we were able to get out in the afternoon and it turned out to be a great picnic for Friendship Day. Each of my friends brought something to eat, so we had tons of food and all kinds of cool stuff that I wouldn’t normally eat. Someone even brought a salad with couscous, which is like little balls of noodles, (I think his mom made it) that had cheese and tomatoes in it. It was surprisingly tasty!
I am already starting to get ready for school this week! I got a supply list from school of stuff I’m supposed to bring, and my mom told me to round up everything I have left over from last year so we can try to reuse as many things as we can. But I can’t wait for new markers. That is probably what I’m looking forward to most, those new markers. There’s just nothin’ like new school supplies to make going back to school even better.
Have an awesome day!

Sunday is Friendship Day! I am going to have a picnic with my friends at a park near my house. There is even a lake and we’re going fishing! A couple parents are going to help us barbeque hotdogs because the fire and coals are something we have to be really careful with.
I think I’ll bring my Frisbee so we can play. What are you gonna do with your friends to celebrate?
Oh, and by the way, I did awesome at my recital. Everything went even better than I expected. I even high-fived my teacher when I got back to my seat. It felt awesome.
Have fun planning your Friendship Day!
