• Smallfrys are big fun!

    July 06, 2011

Starting tomorrow, July 7, you can visit www.LoveHugsSmiles.com to vote on your favorite smallfrys video! This NEW collection has seven furry friends and six outfits that you can mix and match. Since I made Stewart the big enchanted dragon last summer, I am totally getting him a new dragon smallfry friend. I might even name him Stewart Little, tee hee!

Sleep-away camp starts next week for me so I will have to bring Stewart Little because I don’t want Big Stewart to get dirty. We are going to do tons of outdoors stuff there, and I can’t wait to tell you all about it. Don’t worry, I’m bringing plenty of sunscreen and bug-spray: must-haves for sleeping in tents for a week!

    Peace out!

  • Happy 4th of July!

    July 04, 2011

I hope you all are having a wonderful day filled with food, fun, family and friends! In the United States many people celebrate the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. It’s such an important holiday! I know it’s hot outside, but I can’t wait for fireworks tonight! My town has an awesome fireworks show every year on July 4th, and it just keeps getting bigger! Have you ever seen fireworks? What are your favorites? Mine are the ones that are silver and sparkly and when they blow up, the tips come swiveling down making a whistling noise. Have you ever seen those? My second fav is probably the ones that just go up, explode and then shimmer as they fade away. I LOVE those because they remind me of all the sparkly stuff in my closet that I love to wear.

Oh yeah, and remember to have a parent around and be extra safe if you want to do fireworks. They can be really dangerous if you’re not careful.

Gotta go to the fair with Pops! Talk to you on Wednesday!

  • Celebrate good times!

    June 29, 2011

Happy Birthday America! Well, not QUITE yet, but in a few days that’s what we’ll be celebrating in the United States. On the Fourth of July, Americans celebrate the signing of the Declaration of Independence which gave us independence from Great Britain. Most people here go to a parade or festival and have picnics and BBQs. Most businesses are closed on this special day, which usually ends with a pawsome fireworks display!

And Friday is a very special day for Canada, too! July 1 is Canada Day so most Canadians will be out celebrating the day, almost 150 years ago, when they came together to create Canada. Canadians celebrate their country’s birthday almost the same way that we do, with outdoor parties and festivals and of course, food and fireworks!

I like learning about other countries’ celebrations because when you think about it, we are all pretty much the same. We all just like having fun with the people we care about.

Enjoy your weekend everyone! I’ll talk to you on Monday!
