• Dance Off!

    May 18, 2011

    Hey everyone!

OMG! I have some incredibly exciting news to share with you and I can’t believe I had to wait a whole day to tell you: I won the dance off in my class yesterday. Yup, I boot-scooted my way to a shiny trophy and everything! I figured you’d wanna know what I did to get it, so I thought I’d share my secret with you.

I’ve got this mirror in my room that’s pretty big. Yeah, I know, you’re thinking, ‘Chloe, me too but I’m not an awesome dancer like you.’ Well you know what? You don’t HAVE to be an awesome dancer! I love to dance to anything and everything (but especially oldies and Victoria Justice, strange combo but it works). I just dance all the time in front of my mirror, perfect my moves, and then I know exactly what they look like when other people are watching me. I especially like the old-time dances, like the twist and mashed-potato. My mom taught me those. They’re pretty impressive when you can get ‘em down.

So, moral of the story: Dance like nobody’s watching. You’ll be glad you did!

    Check ya later!

Hey all you fans and followers,

What did you do this weekend? I want camping! Have you ever been? It was totally GREAT! We went canoeing and got to fish. I actually didn’t catch any fish but it didn’t even matter because the sun was out so I did catch some rays! My dad caught a few trout and I helped grill them for dinner. And let me tell you, they were DE-LICIOUS!

On Sunday, my parents and I went on a really long hike. I had to bring a backpack with food and water in it. When we got back to camp, they said we went like 5 miles! We saw a ton of birds along the way that I’ve never seen before. It’s amazing what you can see when you’re just quiet. The birds just go about their business and if you are just sitting there being peaceful and not bothering them they don’t mind at all. I love birds!

Now that I know what they look like I’m going to search for some in my own yard!

    Gotta go!
