Hello all you furbulous readers,
Have you heard about the pawsome new Leopard-Print Hello Kitty® and the three new build-a-bear smallfrys® at Build-A-Bear Workshop? They’re so cute!
I love the smallfrys because I can take them places with me, and I don’t have to worry about losing them. Since they are small I can fit them in my backpack. I usually take one to the library with me, too. I like having a pal to read to. My smallfrys love books almost as much as I do. My favorite book to read with them is Oh, The Places You’ll Go, by Dr. Seuss. It makes sense because I’m always going fun places, especially in the summer. Sometimes, the places I go are imaginary, like castles with tall towers and farms with lots of pigs! (I love pigs. They are so cute!) Actually, I think I like those places the best because I can do anything I want.
Where is the last place your imagination took you? Was it an enchanted forest? How about meeting a celebrity that you’ve always wanted to meet?
Keep on dreamin’!
The Tour de France!
July 16, 2012
I've been watching this really cool bike race on TV for the past couple of weeks. It's called the Tour de France, which means the tour of France. The reason it's called that is because the bike riders race all over the country of France. The cyclists, as they are called, are actually professionals who ride bikes for a living. That must be so cool! They get to travel the world and ride a bike for their job!
Each day they race about 100 miles in all kinds of weather. No matter if it's raining or the temperatures are above 100 degrees, they will still ride. Some days they even end up riding in the snow because they are so high up in the mountains, the French Alps and the Pyrenees (pronounced Peer-ah-knees) mountains.
What's the furthest you've ever ridden your bike? I usually only take short trips, like to the store and stuff, so I would have to ride A LOT to get as good as the cyclists in the Tour, (that's what they call it for short.)
Keep on ridin'!
My own fishin' pole: I got it!
July 11, 2012
I am so going fishing on Saturday with my brand new fishing pole! There are so many kinds of fishing poles, but I picked mine because it is small like me and red – my fave color! This time we are going to fish on a small river instead of a lake. I hope I see some other cool critters, like turtles and snails.
I have to dig for worms for my bait, have you ever done that? You get dirty but they’re just wiggly; they don’t do anything to you, like bite you or anything. If you do dig for worms for bait when you go fishing, don’t forget to poke air holes in the top of your container so they can breathe!
Talk to ya later!
