• New Year's Eve!

    December 28, 2011

Can you believe 2011 is over already? It went so fast! You know what they say, time flies when you’re having fun! If you had to make a list of the top five things you did this year, what would be on yours?

I would have to say that going to camp and learning how to cook on a campfire were some of the favorite things I did this year, hands down! I also L-O-V-E my bike that I got this spring. Since I bought it with my own money, I’ve taken really good care of it. Winning the dance-off kinda rocked, too. My trophy still proudly sits on my nightstand! But I think best of all was working at the food pantry in November with my family. Helping others gives me the best feeling in the world!

I hope you all come back to visit me on buildabearville.com ™in 2012! Have a happy and healthy New Year!

  • School's Out!

    December 26, 2011

    Hey guys,

I don’t have school for TWO WEEKS! I love holiday break. It means I get to sleep in, do cool crafts, play more in Bearville™, make hot chocolate whenever I want and go sledding when it snows. We don’t have snow quite yet, but the weatherman says it won’t be long.

We have two plastic saucers in my garage for sledding. Is there a favorite kind of sled that you use? I know some people that have toboggans (pronounced toe-BAH-gans), those long ones, and one of my pals also has his dad’s old real wooden toboggan! I like the saucers because they go downhill super fast!

I’m leaving for the ski trip in a few days. I can’t wait!

    Have fun!

  • Hanukkah

    December 21, 2011

    Hello everyone!

Today is the first day of Hanukkah, the festival of lights! I have friends that celebrate this holiday, and there are lots of people all over the world that celebrate it, too. They celebrate it for eight nights and share gifts and food with their families. In lots of families, it’s also a tradition to eat a special kind of bread called challah (pronounced HA-LA) bread. They eat it warm with butter.

Also, Christmas is December 25. I’m sure a lot of you know about or celebrate it. Lots of families decorate a tree with lights and ornaments, and give each other gifts on Christmas Eve or Day. Just like other holidays, this one is also about spending time with family and friends, sharing good food and lots of laughs! I know I always love hanging out with my family.

Happy Holidays, Happy Hanukkah and Merry Christmas everyone!
