• More babysitting adventures

    May 30, 2012

    Hi guys!

I am starting to babysit a lot more now that I’m out of school for the summer. A lot of the neighbors have asked me to watch their kids during the day, which is cool because I get to do fun stuff with them. Plus, I’m starting to get more regular jobs, which means I’ll have a set schedule where I babysit for a family the same time each week. That’s good because it means I can do extra cool crafts and activities with the kids since I’ll get to see them more than once.

I think the first thing I’m going to make with them, after running around in the park, is worms and dirt! It’s a super snack that’s delicious, easy and fun to make. You just have to layer chocolate pudding and crushed chocolate sandwich cookies in a clear glass. Then at the top, you add one or two gummy worms! The pudding mixed with the crumbly cookies is delicious. Don’t forget the milk!

    Catch ya later!

  • Theme park time

    May 28, 2012

    Hey guys,

One of the things my family is going to do this summer is go to a pawsome theme park. There are a

couple near us that we like to go to. My favorite park has one of those inverted roller coasters that lets

your feet hang off the seat! It’s totally rad and fast. I’d have to say roller coasters are my

absolute favorite ride, but a close second are the swings.

I’ve always wished that someday I could push myself on a swing and it would feel the same way as those

huge ones at the theme park, but I’ve never been able to. Riding in the swings just makes you feel like

you’re a bird! Like you could just take off and fly!

Do you have a favorite theme park ride? If you’ve never been to one, I bet there is a ride you

    can’t wait to try!

    Have fun, friends!

  • Memorial Day

    May 23, 2012

    Hi everyone,

Memorial Day is Monday, May 28 in the United States. This is a holiday that began after the American Civil War as a way to recognize our fallen soldiers, people who have fought for our freedom. Americans, like me, still celebrate this every year. We put up American flags and get together with friends and family on this extra special day. Some people even have barbeques and pool parties because it’s also the unofficial first day of summer!

This year my whole family will spend time together on Memorial Day. It will be really nice to be able to be with my parents and brother to give thanks to all the soldiers.

    Have a great day!
